About Me
With over twenty years of experience in teaching piano, I hold a Music Certificate in Piano Pedagogy and Literature along with a minor in music from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. My passion for music has led me to perform in schools, recitals, competitions, churches, and talent shows. However, my true love lies in teaching, as nothing compares to the joy of nurturing a student's musical journey.
I've had the privilege of teaching students from ages 6 to 70, proving that it's never too late to learn music. My in-home piano studio is where I focus on building my business and sharing my love for teaching.
Teaching Approach
I teach using the Middle C method, which forms a strong foundation for beginners and helps students progress steadily. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, and I provide the necessary materials, including a scale book, theory book, method book, and performance book. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced intermediate, my goal is to help you develop your skills and enjoy the process.
All students must have access to a keyboard or piano and, most importantly, a desire to learn. I’m excited to guide you or your child on this rewarding musical journey.
